Year 3 'Roald Dahl' dress up day! Here are just a few of the amazing outfits that could be see around the school! From Trunchbull's to Matilda's and Sophie's to BFG's, Willy Wonkas to Umpa Lumpas and Fantastic Mr Foxes!

 

 

 

 

We are so very proud of our Stars Cheerleaders who gave an outstanding performance at the Dance Extravaganza at The Gordon Craig Theatre. Well done girls!

 

 

 

 

 

SKELLY DAY - June 2019 - The children have had a very exciting day taking part in various activities around the school grounds as part of Skelly day.
'Welly Wanging', tree spotting, bus play, nature walks and creating various pieces of artwork inspired by nature were just a few of the things going on today!

June 2019 - Year 2 took a trip to Knebworth House. They spent the day exploring the grounds and 'testing' out the amazing slide!

 


 


 


 
 
   
 
 
 
 

 

 

 

June 2019 - Camps Hill Does the 90's!

June 2019 - The children made bones and fossils over the half term holiday as part of their dinosaur topic. Today they used those bones as part of a very exciting Archaeological dig! They buried the bones and then had great fun rediscovering them and using them to create dinosaurs.     Great work Year 1!

 

 

 

 

 

May 2019 - Year 1 visited Rye Meads wildlife Sanctuary and took part in a range of activities including Minibeast hunting, season identifying, bird watching and scavenger hunt activities!

 

May 2019 - Titanic Day! The children spent the day learning all about life on the Titanic. They tried foods from the era, dipped their feet in icy water and took part in a range of other activities all whilst sporting the clothes of a 1st or 3rd class passenger.

 

May 2019 - Stevenage Borough women's team visit the Camps Hill Girls football team to share tips/ skills and have a couple of games!

April 1st  2019 - Year 1  have been learning all about Neil Armstrong. To finish up their topic they spent a day in space (in the hall!). They made aliens, drew galaxies, tasted space food and launched into space!

March 29th 2019 - Reception Stay and Play for 'Special Ladies Day' (Special gentlemen were also very welcome!) The children kicked things off with an assembly where they presented paintings of their Special Person and spoke about why they were special to them. This was followed by a session of decorating biscuits and cakes, which was greatly enjoyed by everyone!

 

 

 

March 29th 2019 - Special Ladies Afternoon Tea . The children spent time having refreshments and making bracelets with their Special Ladies.

January 2019 - Musical Theatre Workshops with Bethany Filler. The children all had a taster of musical theatre before deciding if they would like to join the new after school club. The club was so popular, they had to add an extra day!

 

  

 

 

January 2019 - Some of Yr6 learning about the passage of blood through the heart with the help of a little creative role play!

 

January 2019 - Special Inspector Mahoney visited Yr5 & Yr6 along with a familiar face to talk about the work Special Constables do in the community.

 

 

 

 

 

December 2018 - Staff Christmas Panto - " The wizard of OZ". The children absolutely loved this :)

 

December 2018 - KS2 Production of ANNIE!

 

 

 

November 2018 - Pudsey Arts and Crafts in the Café - raising money for children in need. All sessions were fully booked and we raised £498.25 for the charity!

 

November 2018 - "Get your Grown Up's Gardening!" Children and Adults teamed up and took part in planting, weeding and clearing of the school site. Even the Mayor stopped by to help!

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

October 2018 - Florence Day! Year1 children dressed up and experienced what it would have been like to work in a busy hospital during the war.

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

September 2018 - Our stunning Remembrance Corridor was visited by The Royal British Legion and BobFm and was featured in The Comet Newspaper!
